Who or what has inspired your work?

"My work is inpired from where I live on the North Coast of Devon. My work uses line and form to imitate the natural coastline and rock formations, created and changing through time. The coast has energy and power and natural beauty, this transcends to my work."

Why do you think couples should have a natural wedding?

"Couples should seek out as much sustainable products as possible when planning their wedding, so much money from big businesses (i.e. from gold bands etc.) are paid as a given. The wedding finger is said to be the line from the finger to the heart, so the metal that sits on that finger should be 'clean' without human or environmental abuses taken place, that death should not be part of the love that's held on that finger.

Green gold is the way forward and big businesses need to start investing to stop using cyanide and mercury in the cleaning process, allowing it into the water basin so indigenous populations and the environmental bio diversity is harmed.

If more couples used ethical goods, the monopoly would have to change - action speaks."

Do you have any advice to give couples planning a natural wedding?

"Couples should research as much as possible before using products that are easily accessible. They should also shop as much locally as possible, using the resources in their own areas to complement their wedding."
