fforest becomes home for you and your guests for the entire weekend
Who are we...
James and Sian, both art school graduates, head up the family business. They created fforest with a dream of simple outdoor living wrapped up in a magical setting, underpinned by the design and creative skills that they learned in their previous lives.
fforest hosts celebrations embracing simple pleasures and the great outdoors. From sunshine and beaches to comfort and candles. With a variety of spaces both indoor and out to choose from, we are suited to weddings of varying sizes whatever the weather or season.
The wedding party books all of our accommodation and facilities so fforest becomes home for you and your guests for the entire weekend. The tiny Bwthyn pub is licensed for a very intimate civil ceremony, the giant hat tipi is perfect for a humanist ceremony with a view and the cedar barn accommodates long tables for dining or can host smaller groups for a flexible dining / bar / party space.
As all of our ingredients are fresh and seasonal including some from our own land, we can be flexible with the food we offer but the common theme is simple, local and delicious.
Guests stay in a range of accommodation from our grand Georgian farmhouse and cosy crog lofts to our geodesic domes with woodburners and other fun canvas options.
As you will be around all weekend, if you feel like being adventurous, why not sign your party up to an activity, making the most of the stunning natural playground that surrounds us. Canoe through the Teifi gorge or go coasteering along the rugged north Pembrokeshire coastline.
The 200 acres of fforest farm are part of an area of unspoilt natural beauty, wrapped in woods, wildlife and wonder. We’ll help you to use the space creatively to plan a unique celebration personal to you.

We take care in the concept, the ethos, the design, the furnishings, the food, the adventures. Our buildings are being slowly and lovingly restored, paying tribute to their heritage and environment in the choice of materials. We’ve given a lot of thought to the furnishings, using a combination of ethically sourced and local products.
We pride ourselves on our food. For us ‘local’ isn’t a brand , it’s just what we do. We grow vegetables, salads and edible flowers, we know where our meat comes from, we’re on first name terms with the fishermen, we collect the bread as it comes out of the oven, our wood-fired pizza toppings change with the seasons.
In addition to our traditional farmhouse and crog lofts we have a range of low impact canvas accommodation, some with woodburners and 12v lighting systems. Don’t worry though, we have a beauty shed with lots of mirrors and natural light, perfect for wedding day preparations.
