Say 'I do' at Lancashire's most unique venue
Hidden within a nature reserve and featuring a unique floating venue, Brockholes offers a truly memorable setting for your wedding. Whether along the banks of the river, in our ancient woodland or watching the sun set across the lake, our 250 hectare nature reserve will provide a stunning stage for your photographs.
Brockholes is a wedding venue with a difference, just waiting for you to create your own special day. Imagine taking your vows floating on water, surrounded by panoramic lake views framed by reeds. Our intimate ceremony room allows you to feel close to nature and up to 100 guests will be able to share your special moment.
When the celebrations begin we have two rooms which are suitable for wedding receptions for up to 120 guests. All the rooms at Brockholes are modestly designed to blend in with the landscape and allow you to express your own style to create a wedding theme that suits you.
Why not add a twist to your celebration by taking advantage of the outside space, whether you choose to have canapés and drinks on the hilltop overlooking the lake or a hog roast around the apple trees on the floating village.
If a wedding at Brockholes sounds like your perfect day, please feel free to arrange an appointment to view the venue and discuss your enquiry further with our Wedding Co-ordinator.
Brockholes is an award-winning venue, having received a series of awards and accolades celebrating its sustainability and environmental performance. Most recently, in December 2015, we were awarded a prestigious Green Tourism Gold Award, the largest sustainable certification programme of its kind.
In addition all income that is generated from weddings here at Brockholes is fed back into the conservation and wildlife work carried out here at our nature reserve and throughout the Wildlife Trust.
