Who are we...
We are Amy and Max, a husband and wife team providing beautiful yurts for weddings across the UK. We have traveled the world sourcing stunning textiles to create exotic interiors.
At Hooe's Yurts we provide stunning yurts for wedding receptions, hen weekends and wedding nights. We specialize in decorating the yurts with exotic textiles creating beautiful ethnic style venues. A brilliant alternative to a traditional marquee and perfect for adding the wow factor to your wedding day.
Yurts are round domed tents based on the Mongolian Yurt (or Ger) and are constructed from treated timber and white canvas. Our yurts look gorgeous and once inside they feel solid, sumptuous and welcoming. We have lots of different yurt sizes available ranging from huge 44ft venue yurt to seat 120 people to 14ft bedroom yurts. The yurts can be used individually or linked together to create an amazing Yurt Palace for a reception with up to 250 guests.
Our yurts make wonderful bedroom spaces - a perfect solution for housing guests at your wedding. These Yurt Villages can be kitted out with a with a range of luxurious furnishings including proper beds and linen to ensure your guests get a seriously good nights sleep. Our bride and groom Wedding Night Yurts are also extremely popular. They are great for couples wanting to stay at their wedding reception till dawn but also have a stunning place to sleep.
Our yurts are very popular for hen parties. Camping with a group of your best girl friends in a scenic place is great fun especially if you have a beautiful space for games and gossiping.
We look forward to hearing about your wedding and helping create a fantastic day for you and your guests.

At Hooe's Yurts we are passionate about supporting our local economy. We live in rural Devon and want to make sure, where possible, we use local skills and trades. Our yurts are made by the wonderful Kevin from The Really Interesting Tent Company and our stunning tables are hand crafted by Ben from Barrel Topped Wagons. Both companies use sustainable wood. Our staff are all young people from Devon and paid a fare wage. We have made a special effort to source fair trade items from abroad and visit the factories of our main suppliers in India.
