Passionate about capturing those special moments in a relaxed and approachable way
Who are we...
Born and bred Dorset girl, daughter of a farmer. I very much enjoy photographing weddings out in the countryside, amongst the friends, family. It’s about capturing the story of the day, with the joy of sharing love and life with like minded people.
Capturing the atmosphere of your magical wedding day is what I strive to do. Meeting couples that really want to create a wedding that is a reflection of them as a couple and one that's not necessary very tradition is wonderful. These weddings are always the most enjoyable weddings.
I have been a self-employed photographer for around ten years and love every minute. I'm a farmers daughter, born and bred in the West Country. Being from a large family I always enjoy sitting around the kitchen table with a good cup of tea nattering to my brothers and sisters. When I’m not photographing, my farming life takes over and I tend to my flock of sheep and chickens.
I work from home, saving on fuel. We heat our home with hedgerow firewood. I try to be as eco-minded as possible around the home using products such as ecover, recycling any waste, making do and mending when possible and we like to try natural remedies! We buy seasonal British produce, sourced locally from small independent shops. When I’m not taking photos you can usually find me out in the fields with our dogs and sheep. We shepherd our flock using organic principles, and try to work with nature. You can see more of this side of my work at www.fieldfarefarm.com
