Space, tranquillity and endless potential for your truly unique wedding
Who are we...
My husband and I, decided to share our collection and our home- Old Oak Farm wedding venue was born! Old Oak Farm has been in the family for hundreds of years, over five generations, and the passion and love for the venue is apparent at each event.
At Old Oak Farm, the only limitation is your imagination - a blank canvas for you to create your perfect Country, Rustic Wedding. Just 12 miles from Taunton, and 14 from Yeovil, it is perfectly accessible for your wedding party and guests too.
With a relaxed and informal ambience, and 9 acres of rolling countryside, Old Oak Farm is the ideal location, offering clients a venue with few restrictions, catering everything from intimate parties to large wedding receptions.
Although providing every client with their own freedom of choice, here at Rebecca Jane Weddings and Events, we have an extensive list of reliable and recommended suppliers from caterers to florists and marquee companies.
This venue offers more than just your run-of-the-mill marquee wedding, with unique and quirky touches to make your day extra memorable. With our own rustic stable bar and secret garden, Old Oak Farm truly is your alternative venue.
Why not make a weekend of it? We offer camping for your guests too - with exclusive hire of the venue and camping field for the entire weekend. And don't forget that extra special touch exclusive to the bride and groom, in the form of a beautifully appointed bridal hut for the true glamping experience.

Old Oak Farm is a family-run venue that looks to nurture, embrace and enjoy the 9 acres of countryside in which it sits.
Encouraging the growth of wild flowers, hedgerows and planting natural screening for wildlife, privacy and to lessen sound pollution, here at Old Oak Farm we are conscious to protect and maintain our beautiful surroundings.
As small-holders, we understand the importance of allowing our fields to rejuvenate, and a temporary structure (in the form of a traditional canvas marquee) means the after every busy season we can allow the pastures to return to their former glory.
Green-field camping offered to your guests helps to lessen the impact on the land, with a simple policy that the site is left as it is found to allow to livestock to return to their grazing land as soon as guests have left.
We strongly believe in supporting other local businesses to create a thriving economy in our rural area. Not only does this help to build a strong and reliable network but indirectly reduces the environmental impact of our suppliers. With an abundance incredible caterers, florists, entertainers and photographers just a stone’s throw away from our venue we couldn’t get much more 'local'!
