A rustic and enchanting rediscovered parkland and gardens dating back to the 1800s
Who are we...
For the past twenty years or so, Tracey Estate has been owned by the Furnival family. We have begun the huge task of slowly restoring the gardens and grounds to their former glory and are now receiving acclaim as a parkland wedding venue.
Discover the magic of a wedding at Tracey Estate
Discover your perfect day set in the gardens of a bygone era, resurrected and restored to create an atmospheric and enchanting venue for your wedding or event.
Originally 25 acres of arboretum gardens, Tracey Estate has a diversity of magnificent trees, with parkland fields rolling down to the River Otter in the valley below. From the terrace vista, original slate steps lead the wedding party down to Tracey’s sunken garden. Here the fountain centre piece and surrounding canopy of unique trees provide the perfect setting to celebrate two people continuing on in the next part of their love story.
From 2016 we will be registered to hold wedding ceremonies. With a number of different picturesque settings, Tracey provides flexibility so you can tailor your day to suit your personality and wishlist.
We can help design your perfect day by offering our marquee to hire, and suggest local contacts for car hire, flowers, hair, makeup and photography. For your guests, there is an area for camping and acres of parking space so that you don’t have to feel restrained.
Once a local treasure, Tracey Estate is a newly renovated landscape of great scenic value. This family owned business' mission is to preserve this fantastic heritage and share this in a number of ways for local enrichment. A year on year tree planting plan across the 25 acres of parkland along with sustainable farming that is in harmony with wildlife and nature shows how committed Tracey Estate is to having a big impact in it's local community and a small impact on our environment.
