Giant Nordic Tipis for a romantic wedding space bringing you closer to nature
Who are we...
Buffalo Tipi was born from our love of timeless design and the great outdoors. Rooted on a family farm in the rural South West of England, near Bath, our giant Kåta tipis create a spacious but comfortable event space whilst bringing you closer to nature.
Buffalo Tipi was born from our love of the great outdoors and timeless design. Rooted on a family farm in the rural West Country, near Bath, our Giant Nordic Tipis provide a romantic and comfortable wedding space whilst bringing you closer to nature.
The dynamic design that allows us to connect our tipis and raise any of their nine sides, makes them incredibly adaptable to both the weather and the size of your wedding- covering wild winter weddings for 300, intimate summer soirées for 50 and everything in-between. Our passion for design and the natural environment drives the business.
Designing and making our own furniture and supplying enchanting and magical lighting set-ups are a couple of things that we're particularly proud of. Buffalo’s creative ambition also means that pretty much anything is possible.
We supply all the essentials: woven matted flooring, options for your tables and chairs, dance floor, staging, toilets, catering tent and generators. The not-so-essentials but the I-really-want-them items include: Moroccan rugs, ‘The Snug’, festoon lighting, fire pit, lanterns, coat rails, easels and much more.
We are a small business with a small team focusing on one main event a week. This means we give you so much more of our time for your money. Get in touch for a quick quote or if you’re relatively local I'm happy to meet up and show you what’s possible before you book.
Based on our family farm, where renewable energy from our biomass boiler and solar panels keep us running!
As a keen artist and carpenter I make and design much of the furnishings. Tables, bars and fire pits for example are all distressed, painted and up-cycled.
I've also studied sustainability at university and was very close to enrolling in an Landscape Architecture Degree before I found giant tipis! Design and Nature is my passion.
