Small scale flower grower with natural & seasonal style with an emphasis on colour
Who are we...
I am an artisan florist and small scale flower grower in Southwold on the beautiful Suffolk coast. Having trained in floristry at Otley College and in horticulture at Somerleyton Hall I developed a passion for seasonal British flowers.
I supply and arrange flowers for weddings in Norfolk and Suffolk using British grown flowers many of which I grow in my own cottage garden. I cut all year starting with Hellebores and Snowdrops and finishing with Holly at Christmas by way of Narcissus, Tulips, Lilac, Alliums, Iris, Roses, Larkspur, Nigella, Cornflowers, Sweet Peas...lots of Sweet Peas, Cosmos, Zinnias, Dahlias, Sunflowers, Chrysanthemums and other lovelies.
If you are getting married at Somerleyton Hall in North Suffolk I also grow flowers in the Kitchen Garden there for weddings held at the Hall. I supplement my own flowers and buy in British flowers from other trusted growers as locally as possible.
My style is natural and seasonal with a particular emphasis on colour. I will arrange flowers for the ceremony and reception including buttonholes and bouquets or supply flowers for you to arrange yourself or a combination of both “ Buckets and Bouquets”.

After training in floristry and horticulture I became increasingly interested in ethically produced eco-friendly flowers and floristry. I have returned to the old meaning of the word florist which was "a grower and seller of flowers".
Many of the flowers I use are grown in my own cottage garden and I supplement with British grown flowers from other trusted growers sourced as locally as possible. I decorate weddings and make Bridal bouquets all year round using British sourced flowers and foliage even in the depths of winter there is something gorgeous to cut.
I try not to use floral foam, whenever possible using other more environmentally friendly methods and I rarely use imported flowers. I have become increasingly passionate about this way of working. Cutting garden floristry works sympathetically with the seasons and nature and this is reflected in my wedding flowers.
